Es gibt ein neues Mixtape von den Herrschaften Hi-Tek und Talib Kweli, beser bekannt als Reflection Eternal! Jawohl… und das ganze zusammengestellt und präsentiert von Statik Selektah.
Das Mixtape trägt den Titel “The RE-Union Mixtape” und soll die Wartezeit auf das im Februar 2010 anstehende RE-Album “Revolutions per Minute” verkürzen. Mit einigen Ausnahmen wurde das Mixtape komplett von DJ Hi-Tek produziert und beinhaltet eine wunderbare Mischung aus neuen, bisher nicht veröffentlichten sowie älteren Tracks – mit Klassikerstatus. Das ganze wird übrigens mit der freundlichen Genehmigung von Showoff Records (Statik Selektah) und YearoftheBlacksmith (Talib Kweli) präsentiert!
Einer der neuen Tracks ist übrigens “Come Around” auf dem Termanology und Royce da 5`9″ gefeatured werden, eine Produktion von Statik Selektah und hier auch vorhörbar:

Insgesamt beinhaltet das Mixtape 30 (!) Stücke – also wenn das mal kein Highlight ist, dann weiß ich selber nicht.
